Not at all. The Curious Club isn’t about testing what you know, and there are no right or wrong answers. You don’t need any specialist knowledge or experience, just a willingness to join in, listen, share your thoughts if you want to, and be curious about what other people think.

Do I need to book in advance?

Accessibility varies between locations, so please check the information for your chosen venue. If there's anything you need to know before booking, you're always welcome to get in touch.

I'm quite shy. Will I feel comfortable?

You don't need to be naturally outgoing to enjoy The Curious Club. There's no pressure to dominate the conversation or always have something to say. Listening is part of a good conversation too.

Is there an age limit?

The Curious Club is for adults aged 18 and over. There's no upper age limit. In fact, having people of different ages, backgrounds and life experiences in the room is part of what makes the conversations interesting.

Are the venues accessible?

We understand that plans sometimes change. Our cancellation and refund terms are shown when you book, so please have a quick look before confirming your place.

How long does a gathering last?

Most Curious Club gatherings last around two hours, but timings can vary. Check your specific venue page for start and finish times and all the details for that gathering. And with every location, there is no need to rush off, many stay and chat after the club has finished.

Can I get food or drinks?

This varies depending on the venue, and you'll find the details on each venue page. Some of our venue partners also offer Curious Club guests a discount on food purchases - currently 10% at selected locations - so it's worth checking what's available when you choose your gathering.
